I have thirteen years’ experience in custom content development and brand strategy (both as a freelancer and as a branded content program manager). I have partnered with organizations such as Bridgestone, JCPenney, Pfizer, and Parenting Magazine and I have managed integrated marketing campaigns for high profile, corporate clients such as Disney, Home Depot, NBC, and Whole Foods. I have also worked in the Colorado Springs non-profit sector as a public affairs director. I believe effective marketing encompasses high-quality content and positions you as a trusted, valuable resource.

Because change is constant and happening faster than ever before, I believe it is vital to continue learning. The more we learn, the more we grow, and the more we grow, the better we can serve others and our community. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Colorado and I am currently obtaining a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University.

I spent my childhood growing up in the prairie plains of Oklahoma and the majority of my adult life living on the Front Range in Colorado. This means I have an affinity for fried fair foods and I also like hiking. When I am not studying, I enjoy exploring Colorado with my two kiddos, perfecting my chalk paint techniques, and listening to Decoder Ring podcast which cracks important cultural mysteries such as Bart Simpson mania and the world of the ubiquitous decorative pillow.
