I studied English and Philosophy at Haverford College in Pennsylvania. After graduating I began working as a journalist for a newspaper in northern New Jersey, just a few miles outside New York City, not far from where I grew up. In 2012 I journeyed west to get my M.A. in English at Indiana University, where I also taught English composition, literary fiction, journalism, and media.
I came to Digital Marketing through my experience teaching and writing across different mediums. As a writer and researcher, I get the thrill of honing my craft and experimenting, whether it’s penning long-form white papers about highly specialized topics or typing up quick and pithy social media posts that hook your interest. Ultimately, my work at Big Sea provides endless opportunities for creative collaboration, especially with clients. I can’t wait to learn about your business and work together to tell a brand story that leaves a lasting impression.
In my off time I freelance as a science writer and editor, I’m an avid moviegoer and podcast listener, and I enjoy reading and writing about art and culture. Like the rest of the world, I got very into cooking during the pandemic. So, after a couple years, I think my Beef Wellington can give Gordon Ramsey’s a run for his money.
