As Account Manager at Big Sea, I am responsible for building and maintaining the trust of our clients and developing a deeper understanding of what works and what doesn’t work for their business.
My origin story for strategic consulting and client management started back in elementary school when I ran for school council with the proposition to be the ‘liaison’ for my fellow classmates, and my origin story for digital began around the same time as friends of my parents would hire me to teach them the basics about computers.
Ever since then, I’ve worked as both an entrepreneur and intrapreneur to assist companies with the combination of the two – and my educational background and professional experience highlight that constant theme.
I studied Political Science at the University of Maryland and was highly involved in the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship which led me to launching my first business right before college graduation. I’ve also managed multiple coworking spaces (US and Canada), launched another business in Mexico, and then have been working as a leader in the tech/startup/digital marketing industry for the past decade – ranging from nonprofits to for-profits to firms and everything in between. My previous roles in the digital space have included Digital Media Strategist, Communications Director, Senior Business Development Representative, Growth Manager, Partnerships Consultant, Project Manager, Support Manager and most recently Account Manager. During these experiences, I’ve worked with individual business owners, small and medium-sized enterprises, large nonprofit organizations, higher education institutions, and government agencies.
My favorite hobbies and free-time activities are hanging out with friends and family, traveling, playing/coaching/watching basketball, music, movies, and sometimes just doing absolutely nothing.
